I’ve said this before but I’m a self-confessed community centre superfan – even more so when there’s an on-site nursery and such a stunning community garden.
Plans to renovate the centre are starting to come together nicely. The garden will almost double, and the footprint of the building will change to make it more multifunctional. I’m pleased my support letter went some way towards securing funding for the project.
Led by the brilliant Jilly, and with the support of Cllr Cameron McIntosh, the Hurst Green Community Centre Trustees have done a phenomenal job so far. I look forward to visiting again when the project is completed.
