Before Christmas, I had a fantastic visit to Merstham Park School where I sat with students to hear about their exciting ambitions for a brand-new, state-of-the-art performance centre.
While politics can sometimes feel like a pantomime, creating a space where students can learn, grow and express their creative talents is one of the most meaningful investments we can make in their future.
I’m always so impressed when I meet our local students, and if their passion and enthusiasm are anything to go by, our future is in very safe hands.
