Claire co-sponsors Alan Mak's In-Person Banking Services Bill

Delighted to be a co-sponsor of Alan Mak’s In-Person Banking Services Bill.

We had our fair share of difficulty with LINK’s outdated criteria here in East Surrey when battling to secure Oxted’s Banking Hub. With more and more bank branches closing down in rural communities, it’s clear the law needs changing.

This bill would extend the last Conservative Government’s banking legislation protecting access to cash by putting protection of access to face-to-face banking services into law for the very first time.

This is the start of a great campaign, so let me know your views: https://www.clairecoutinho.com/campaigns/support-claires-better-banking…
