Transport that works for you

Westminster should be making it easier for you to get around, not harder. That’s why I have opposed Sadiq Khan’s rash and self-serving ULEZ policy, Government has forced TfL to backtrack on their planned axing of Day Travelcards, and fought off plans to close train ticket offices.

This is all on top of the extra £3.7 million we’ve delivered for Surrey to help fill in potholes this year and next, and my work to force fuel retailers to provide live price information, bringing down prices at the pump. Looking forward, we need to review Surrey’s Local Transport Plan 4, encourage use of demand-responsive transport, and defend drivers against plans that make it harder to get around.

Fuel prices fall sharply

Our plan to call out rip-off petrol prices is working.

The AA says fuel retailers are now slashing prices twice as fast as before - with 3.75p off a litre in the last 2 weeks.

Day Travelcards Saved!

I am thrilled to share that Day Travelcards from outside of London will no longer be scrapped, following Transport for London's proposals to withdraw them were announced in April.

West Park Road set for resurfacing

I’ve received confirmation from Surrey County Council that West Park Road will be resurfaced between 19th June and 22nd July. Residents nearby will receive leaflets telling them what to expect while the repairs are carried out.
